Lin hsi chun’s solo exhibition
The Tainan Licence art gallery held a solo exhibition of ” Entering & free exploration ” by Professor Lin hsi chun, the extension is July 13th ~ August 4th, which featured the artist’s abstract paintings in recent years. A series of works created strong visual shapes with color blocks and lines , show the personal characteristics.
The theme of the exhibition ” Entering & free exploration ” means that when people watch the abstract paintings, each person has subjective feelings, interpreting the meaning of the paintings with own mind, and free exploration entering in the painting artistic conception. Lin hsi chun’s abstract paintings layout the strong lines and color block. The seemingly chaotic and interlaced color lines are actually layered & intertwined and interacting, make the most personal style of painting symbols, excellent balance for consisting of basic elements such as points, lines and faces, with a solid foundation of art and space aesthetics.
Lin hsi chun’s painting emphasizes the spatial composition of order, which shows the mechanical beauty. It can be found in the subtle light and shadow atmosphere from the details. The overall color with low brightness. When people watching, then constantly thinking. it thinks of unspeakable in life, such as the various emotions, calm, introverted, mature, witty, and hopeful from the abstract expression, Lin hsi chun expressed his inner feelings and life experience through abstract paintings.
Lin hsi chun is an assistant professor of architecture at Kao Yuan University . He used to be the director of the Kaohsiung County Transportation and Tourism Bureau, the chairman of the Kaohsiung Modern Painting Society, and the president of the Kaohsiung Art Alliance. He has served as a member of the local public art review committee, also made policies and other aspects for long-term involvement and special research in creation, education,art and Cultural, such as Kaohsiung Urban Spotlight is one of his representative design.
