A Close Look at Taiwan’s Traditional Crafts ” at the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Hall. Li Lianquan, Deputy Minister of Culture, Shi Guolong, Director of the Bureau of Cultural Assets, Monk Xinbao, abbot of Fo Guang Shan, Master Ru Chang, curator of the Buddha Memorial Hall, curator Mr. Bohe Zhuang, teacher, and traditional crafts preservers from all over the country, and other distinguished guests unveil the special exhibition together.

 Li Lianquan, Deputy Minister of Culture, stated that Taiwan’s traditional crafts are my country’s precious intangible cultural assets.At present, there are 13 national treasures of traditional crafts and 18 projects, and 15 national treasure-level artists participated in this special exhibition. The curator, Mr. Bohe Zhuang, assembled 45 central and local artists with the best traditional craftsmanship, and provided 155 works to show the value of Taiwan’s multiculturalism. I hope that people will understand the aesthetics of its craftsmanship from this special exhibition , but also hope that it will lead everyone to appreciate its cultural value, and pay attention to the preservation and maintenance of traditional crafts, so that this intangible cultural asset can be continuously practice and inheritance from generation to generation. .
