NEW E-STORE FOR RICHARD GINORI IN CANADA
- The new online shop offers its Canadian clients an interactive, personal and modern shopping experience for the first time, focusing particularly on a younger audience;
- The online store represents a new step in the brand digitalisation path started in 2018 and that, after Italy, Europe and the United States, now reaches Canada while looking to the rest of the American continent.
Richard Ginori, since 1735 the maximum expression of Italian excellencein the high-quality artistic creation of pure porcelain , launches its new online store in Canada, the latest step in the digital growth of the brand.
Richard Ginori makes its debut on the Canadian market with a customised shopping experience, fully integrated in the corporate website, and easily accessible online at all time. Through the new destination, porcelain lovers from across the pond can now express their own personal home style, choosing their favourite pieces from the wide range of available collections: Il Viaggio di Nettuno; Aria; Voliére; Oriente Italiano; Catene; Labirinto; Vecchio Ginori; Antico Doccia; Oro di Doccia; Arte; Babele; and a number of best sellers such as crystal, flatware and textile collections.
The new e-store, optimised for computer or mobile devices, offers an interactive experience, enriched by editorial content and several services, such as: free return, a dedicated customer care in English, ad-hoc shipping service with DHL, and payments by most common credit cards. The new www.richardginori1735.com/ca platform is powered by Ogilvy, already a partner with Richard Ginori in other projects.
The opening of the new “shop window” in Canada is part of the online strategy of the Manifattura, started in 2018 with the launch of e-stores in Italy, UK, and France and with the successive extension of the e-commerce to the rest of Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Hungary. In addition, Richard Ginori also reached the US market last October through an e-commerce platform specifically dedicated to the USA. Looking to Asia, and specifically to China, the brand aims to activate online shop on WeChat in the coming months, with the goal of reaching a younger audience.
seeks to further reinforce the positioning of the Manifattura as top of the line, as well as to consolidate an even more important strategy in this particularly complex moment due to the international health crisis. In addition, the online and social media presence allows the maison to approach a younger and more digitally connected audience in search of alternative interactions with top brands, and which is used to, and often prefers, online shopping experiences as opposed to purchases in physical locations.
“In a growing market like Canada, the challenge for a historic brand like Richard Ginori is to be able to mix new media and creativity with the respect for the history and artisanal tradition that distinguishes it, in a customer-oriented approach”, declared Alain Prost, Chairman and CEO of Richard Ginori. “The new Canadian e- store is the continuation of a specific strategy aimed at growing the online presence of the maison, not only to increase our target clientele, but, now more than ever, to allow our fans to enjoy the beauty and art expressed by our brand in the tranquillity and security of their own homes.”
