A Day in the Life of Joanna Borov– international model,
influencer & entrepreneur
Joanna Borov is a Polish-born model who works successfully in both the fashion industry and in entrepreneurship. Her resume is impressive and continues to grow. A statuesque blonde, she has won Miss Motors F1, modeled in different fashion shows including the prestigious Paris Fashion Week, and appeared in magazines such as Vogue, FHM, Playboy, and Marie Claire. In terms of being an entrepreneur, Joanna grew up in a family full of businesspeople, cultivating a work ethic that shows in all of her endeavors.
To this day, her family owns several medical clinics in Poland, and Joanna is involved in aesthetic medicine. In this field, she was able to establish companies that produce organic baby clothes and toys in Poland called Melulu Baby and Mila Babies, wanting infants and young children to have access to healthier, toxin-free garments and toys.
In addition, Joanna also actively supports charities, many of which help underserved communities in the United States.
Despite her milestones, Borov still has to maintain an image of perfection and a look that is favored by the cutthroat fashion industry. Joanna admits, “The competition in the fashion industry, especially in Miami and Los Angeles is huge, and there are so many beautiful girls all over the world.” She works hard to maintain her look; we asked her what her typical day looks like.
On a typical day, Joanna wakes up around 7-8 a.m. She practices intermittent fasting which means skipping breakfast, practicing yoga and pilates in order to bring more flexibility and centeredness. Sometimes she likes to change to exercises for more variety, doing hiking and swimming before lunch.
When she is outside, she wears SPF and loves to hike when the sun is especially shining in Los Angeles or Miami, two places she calls home. She usually dresses in comfortable clothes on days like this, wearing tracksuits or yoga wear depending on the weather. Despite having a skincare regime that consists of putting on SPF, Joanna does not wear makeup everyday and wants to preserve her skin. For lunch, she loves to eat eggs, a fine salmon, or a healthy salad. During the afternoon, she usually has castings or meetings from people within the fashion industry.
Sometimes in the evenings, if she is at an event, she will wear makeup, dressy clothes, and high heels. On an evening in which there is no event, she tries to have more physical activity, such as walking her dog. After she is done, Joanna works on her online business.
Working on the business also entails collaborating with several brands on product development and brainstorming further ideas. She also washes her face at night, using treatments that clear her pores and moisturize so that she can wake up with fresh, clean skin. She sleeps at 11 or 12 due after working and makes sure that her devices are silent at this time, reading a little bit before she falls asleep.
Most ideally, Joanna prefers working online from somewhere close to the beach. The beach provides solitude, relaxation and the scenery helps provide more focus. She considers it her “alone time” that includes self-care, traveling alone and enjoying a “staycation” for a few days as she puts business processes in order. Once, she stayed in Malibu Inn in California, completing her goals as she was surrounded by gorgeous scenery. As a Pisces, she is no stranger to water and finds it to be a motivating element.
As of this time, ever since the beginning of the beginning of the pandemic, Joanna has been working on a diet and fitness regime, composing a healthy lifestyle book that she can with her followers. Joanna also writes a gratitude journal and practices mindfulness on a daily basis. You can reach her at www.joannaborov.com.
