Unveiling ceremony
A plaque unveiling ceremony of Taiwan’s largest international monument artists’ gathering center, Lin-Chia Gong-Bao-Di National Art Center, was held today in Wufeng District, Taichung City.
Former director of cultural affairs bureau of Taichung City Government , master of international ink painting 葛憲能, and more than 100 well-known artists from Taiwan participated in the cultural event that combined with monuments and art for the first time in 400 years.
The calligraphy on the plague unveiled today, Wufeng Lin Chia Lin Zu Mi General Memorial Association / Wufeng Lin Chia Gong-Bao-Di National Art Center, was written by the “Taiwan Ge style ink painter – Lin Chia Tong” and engraved on the bronze medal. This laid a new milestone in the field of art for the monument. May 31st of each year is the anniversary of the starting point of art.
The Association has adhered to the persistence on the development of Gong Bao Di’s art to continue its vision and purpose. Among them, Lin Yi-Ming, the founding chairman of the association, is the ninth generation descendant of the Lin family. Mr. Lee Kou Ting, the current chairman of the board, uses his richly-contained artist traits to guide the goal of “Public Welfare” and “Art”. Mr. Liao Wen-Tan, the founding dean of the association, is also the dean of Taiwan Fine Pen Landscape Painting Institute. Mr. Lin Jia-Tong, the first deputy dean, is the “Taiwan Ge style” ink landscape painter.
Second deputy dean is Mr. Lin Pin-Sheng. Deputy Dean is Mr. Lin Bing-Chiu. The National Art Center has ten ministries, ten directors and seven professional clubs.
These clubs consist of Ink and Landscape Creative Club, Fine Pen / Chinese Painting Club, Calligraphy Club, Oil Painting Club, Glue Painting Club, Ceramic Art and Sculpture Club, Comprehensive Art Club.
